As If We Didn't Love PBS Enough, It Just Announced a Gender-Neutral Adaptive Kids' Line
PBS KIDS has joined forces with Zappos to create an adorable gender-neutral adaptive clothing line for kids that features two-way reversible apparel intended to help empower children by promoting independence and creativity. The line, which is manufactured by 4WARD Clothing and designed to meet unique sensory needs, consists of colorful, soft, machine washable poly-cotton blend fabric T-shirts and lounge pants with dissolvable tags and no buttons. The best part? Nothing can be put on "wrong," because everything's reversible!
"PBS KIDS is committed to diversity and inclusion, helping children of all abilities learn and grow," Dawn Ciccone, vice president of brand licensing, PBS KIDS, said in a press release. "This collaboration with Zappos Adaptive is one more way we're honoring that commitment. The PBS KIDS Adaptive Apparel Collection is purpose-driven to help empower children, encourage independence, and promote creative expression."
