For many couples, inviting children to your wedding is a big dilemma, but for Indiana teacher Marielle Slagel Keller, it was a no-brainer. She wanted her students at her wedding and she wanted them to be the flower girls and ring bearers. Marielle teaches a combined kindergarten and first grade class and couldn't imagine her special day without her 20 special students.

"They mean the world to me," Marielle said, according to the Indianapolis Public Schools website. "The kids and their families were part of the whole wedding planning process with me and gave me so much support along the way. They are a huge part of who I am and it would not have felt right to not have them there."

The students all wore white and walked down the aisle as Marielle married Mike Keller back in June. Not only did her students have a special part in her wedding, but she made sure to give them a little private celebration before the reception. The kids and their parents had a separate cupcake party after saying "I do" which was filled with hugs, tears, and of course, a lot of cupcakes.

"We wanted a time to celebrate with just us, the kids, and their families," Marielle told the HuffPost. "Right after we signed the marriage license, we rushed to go see them. It was a moment I had been looking forward to for quite a while. There was a huge group hug and a lot of tears."
