11 Kids You Meet in Every Elementary Class

While some kids have to be pushed out onto the stage for the latest school production, this kiddo loves to be the center of attention. She commands the stage and demands that all eyes are on her (in the classroom, too!).

We all love our mom, but this kid is really attached, quite literally. While the rest of the class can't wait to dash off to play, this kid is gripping tight to his parent's pant legs, begging them not to go.

In every class there is the one who is obsessed about something. Whether it's collecting everything related to Minions, having a binder covered in photos, or wearing the same favorite shirt every day, this kid knows what she loves.

To be fair, I think most of us still need a nap during the day, but for this kid, it's a matter of life and death. Look for this kid lying somewhere under the shade of the slide during recess.

Is it pizza day? Is it corn dog day? Is Sally, the lunch lady who gives extra servings of tater tots, working today? We don't know, but this kiddo certainly does.

This kid clearly has watched a lot of game shows and used-car commercials, because he is willing to trade for anything. If you brought Ho Hos for snack time, he'll trade you three pencils, one eraser, and a note he found on the ground.

The only thing that can clear out a classroom faster than the last day of school is when the kid who loves to fart decides to let loose. There's one in every class, and he enjoys watching people wince in pain.

Whether it's a somber moment to bury the class guinea pig or a particularly sad book during story time, this kid will find something that tickles her funny bone.

For some kids, their outfits for school have to be carefully curated and considered. They don't want to wear just any shoes; they have to be the shoes. And in elementary school especially, this could mean the leader of the wear-a-cape-to-school club.

Thankfully, in every class there is the one who likes to share. He'll bring cupcakes for the whole class just because, he'll share his lunch, and if you're lucky, he may also share the answers to the homework that you forgot to do.

While most kids look at a pile of ketchup, a mashed cookie, a splash of chocolate milk, some leftover lunchmeat, and a slice of cheese and think how disgusting it is, some kids see an opportunity to make money during recess . . . at the sacrifice of their taste buds.
