A Pregnant Woman Deserves Standing Ovation For What She Did When No One Offered Up a Seat on the Bus

When you are pregnant and navigating public transportation, there's nothing more annoying than a fellow commuter who actively avoids doing the right thing and offering his or her (but, in all honesty, usually his) seat. Sure, there's those early months when it's hard to tell if someone is pregnant, but by the third trimester?!

At eight months pregnant, Brydie Lee-Kennedy is one such traveler. She recently stepped onto a crowded bus and beelined for an empty seat only to realize it wasn't quite vacant.

She took to Twitter to reveal what she did next.

Well it finally happened in my 8th month of pregnancy, I just sat on a man's hand and bag when he wouldn't move them off the last spare seat on the bus. We're now sharing a very quiet ride.

Brydie admitted that such horrible commuter etiquette is especially bad in London, where she lives:
