These Mexicans Had the PERFECT Reactions to Donald Trump Visiting Their Country

Donald Trump is meeting with Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto today. Considering the GOP nominee has insinuated all Mexicans who enter America are rapists or murderers and has called for a wall to be built along the border, Mexicans are understandably upset by the visit.

Peña Nieto himself once compared Trump to Adolf Hitler and Italian dictator Benito Mussolini. Speaking to the Mexican newspaper Excelsior about Trump's populist rhetoric, Peña Nieto said, "that's how Mussolini got in, that's how Hitler got in, they took advantage of a situation, a problem perhaps, which humanity was going through at the time, after an economic crisis."

After the visit was announced, Peña Nieto explained his decision on Twitter, saying he invited both Trump and Hillary Clinton. "I believe in dialogue in order to promote Mexican interests across the world and especially to protect Mexicans wherever they may be," he wrote in Spanish.

Peña Nieto isn't exactly popular in Mexico; his presidency has been marred by so much scandal and corruption that his approval rating dropped to 30 percent in April. When Trump's meeting with Peña Nieto was announced on Aug. 30, Mexicans mocked their leader's decision to receive Trump — here are some amusing reactions.

Actress Ana Brenda called for Peña Nieto to turn Trump away from the border. "You'd be a national hero," he said.

Another woman compared Trump and Peña Nieto to Beavis and Butt-head.

President of the Mexican Senate Roberto Zuarth said Trump's visit "legitimizes his demagogy and hate," considering he threatens Mexico with a border wall.

Another political figure, Margarita Zavala, said Trump is not welcome and that Mexicans have dignity and reject hateful rhetoric.

Former President of Mexico Vicente Fox even expressed his disdain for the visit.

It's unclear when Peña Nieto and Trump will speak, but Trump has arrived in Mexico.
