The 1 Chrome Extension We All Need to Use Under Donald Trump's Presidency

The false statements coming from Donald Trump's White House staff and its fight with journalists are deeply concerning. Counselor to the President Kellyanne Conway even coined the term "alternative facts" on Sunday, and Trump slammed CNN with a "fake news" label. While it's become difficult to decipher what information coming from the Trump administration is accurate, fortunately for the American public, The Washington Post has you covered.

The news organization created a browser extension for both Chrome and Firefox called "RealDonaldContext" that allows you to fact-check Trump's tweets or get more information about what he announces via the social media platform. It can be hard to explain complex political issues in 144 characters, and the news organization acknowledges that sometimes readers need more context.

When viewing one of the president's tweets, a blurb from the Post will appear below it, with more information, a correction, or links to articles to learn more about what Trump is tweeting about. Hopefully this means it'll be more difficult for Trump to present "alternative facts" going forward.
