See Michelle Obama Surprise School Girls on International Women's Day
What would International Women's Day be without Michelle Obama? The former first lady celebrated the day by surprising girls at the International Academy at Cardozo Education Campus in Washington DC. Many of the academy's students are recent immigrants to the US, making her visit all the more special given the current political climate.
"I loved visiting this school because it tells the American story in so many ways," Michelle Obama captioned the photo. "The girls I met with today are ready to take on the world. We've just got to make sure that the world is ready for them."
