As the 2016 election continues to spiral out of control, President Obama has found that the best response is often laughter. During Monday night's appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Obama weighed in on the presidential debates and the explosive tape featuring a vile conversation about women between Donald Trump and Billy Bush.

Kimmel started off the conversation by asking Obama if he ever just had to laugh while watching Trump at the presidential debates. Obama simply replied, "Most of the time," before the audience broke out in laughter. Kimmel then asked Obama about the infamous Trump tape and if he had actually watched it. "I did. We were in Chicago," the president answered. "I think I was just coming out of an event and somebody just showed it to me on their phone."

Obama didn't stop there — he mirrored First Lady Michelle Obama's powerful thoughts on Trump's comments when Kimmel asked if he knew the video would go viral. "Yes. Well, didn't you?" he asked, adding, "I think that's one of those things where, if your best friend who worked in the office somewhere had that video, it would be a problem for him — and he's not running for president — and rightfully so."
