What Is Telethon For America

This Star-Studded Telethon Doesn't Want Your Money

BOULDER, CO - October 25, 2018: Owen Hushka, left, and Vanessa Haggans, hold a banner while marching, with other students and staff of Fairview High School, to the South Boulder Recreation Center to vote and turn in election ballots in early voting in Boulder, Colorado on Thursday October 25, 2018.

The folks behind the Telethon For America don't want your money — they want your commitment to vote. Powered by When We All Vote, this nonpartisan event just asks participants to make the pledge to vote on Nov. 6. The telethon will stream live on YouTube, Facebook Live, and Comedy Central Online on Monday, Nov. 5, from 6 p.m to 8 p.m. PT (9 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET). Jessica Alba, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Sophia Bush, and over 50 more actors, comedians, and influencers will be making calls. There will be live performances, comedy, and music to get you properly pumped up to head to the polls. Sound like fun? Take the pledge to vote here, and you'll be entered for a chance to receive a call.
