How This Mom Stood Up to Her Homophobic Neighbor Using 10,000 Christmas Lights

One Washington state resident's photo is going viral for showing how she threw shade at an antigay neighbor. On Facebook, Lexi Magnusson shared how her new neighbor in Silverdale had told her that she moved her family from Oregon to Washington because her kids were being exposed to "gays and transgenders" and she was sick of seeing people "making it okay." In response, Magnusson strung up 10,000 Christmas lights that, altogether, formed a vibrant rainbow flag.

Magnusson's Facebook post has since racked up over 2,000 shares and 14,000 reactions. In the caption, Magnusson wrote, "Since regular aggression leads to assault charges, I went with passive aggression. 10,000 lights later."

We've reached out to Magnusson for a comment and will update this post when we hear back.
