Watch Samantha Bee Rip Apart Kellyanne Conway For Being a Wannabe Feminist

On Wednesday night's episode of Full Frontal With Samantha Bee, the late-night host called out conservative news networks for praising Kellyanne Conway for being the first woman to lead a successful presidential campaign. In the segment, Bee admits that Donald Trump's former campaign manager was truly "amazing" at her job and is responsible for Donald Trump's presidency.

But she went on to sarcastically make a point about why the "counselor to the president" is anything but a feminist icon. "A woman pulls off the feat of electing a sexual predator who thinks women should be punished for having abortions and feminists don't celebrate her with a Vogue cover?"

The segment, titled "The Great Feminists in Feminism Herstory Hall of Lady Fame," features clips of Conway criticizing Trump before she was hired by him. "It's completely transparent. Donald Trump's tax returns aren't. I'd like to see those be transparent," Conway commented on CNN in April of 2016. In February of 2016, she's seen saying, "He says he's for the little guy, but he's actually built a lot of his businesses on the backs of the little guy."

Bee also shows the stark difference between then and after Conway had been hired by the campaign. According to the host, Conway's method for taking hold of an interviews is quite simple: "Smile, take the question, don't answer it, complain about Hilary Clinton — it's not a difficult formula."

The comedian concluded with questioning why Donald Trump is the president instead of Conway, saying, "Kellyanne is the soulless Machiavellian despot America deserves. Not this undisciplined Hobbit-handed omnishambles."
