Vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine appeared on The Late Show last night and got frank with Stephen Colbert about his views on Trump, echoing Hillary Clinton's memorable speech earlier this week.

When Colbert asked Kaine about Trump mitigating his immigration plan, Kaine said he didn't buy it and shared a fact about the Republican nominee from the 1970s that many people might not know. "Trump was a real estate guy who got sued by the Justice Department for discriminating against people in housing — writing the letter C on applications if they were minority," he said. Indeed, it's one of the most egregious forms of racial discrimination committed by Trumps's real estate business.

They also joked about Clinton's health — which Kaine said is fine — after Trump skirted conspiracy theories that Clinton is gravely ill. The two then traded their favorite bible verses and Colbert read him hilarious tweets where he's described as a stepdad. Unsurprisingly, Kaine is cool with the title.
