Genius Bride Swaps Flowers For Adoptable Puppies in Her Gorgeous Wedding Photos

When Sarah approached her wedding photographer with an out-of-the-box idea for her photos, she had no idea it would make her special day go viral. Her ingenious idea of using homeless puppies in lieu of flowers for her wedding party's photos has caught the internet's attention, shining a spotlight on animals in need while celebrating her special day. Just one look at these adorable (and adoptable!) puppies' faces makes it obvious why the internet has fallen in love with this story.

For an added dose of cuteness, the precious Boxer-Coonhound puppies the bridesmaids held in the photos are actually sisters, and are all named after the original five first ladies: Martha, Abigail, Dolley, Elizabeth, and Louisa. The Pit Bull puppy snuggling with the bride is a 9-week-old pup who was rescued from the streets of Brooklyn, NY. He's been appropriately named Biggie Smalls.

On the chaos of adding puppies into the mix during a naturally stressful day, photographer Caroline Logan said, "While photographing six rambunctious puppies definitely brought an added challenge, it also caused the bridal party to be more at ease." You will immediately sense the added joy these pups brought to an already-joyous occasion after seeing the stunning photos for yourself.
