This Is What Happens When Your Roomba Runs Over Dog Poop

Roombas are a godsend for parents and pet owners alike. They make cleaning up after small children and pets a breeze. My last apartment was only ever spotless because my Roomba followed my cats around to pick up all the stray litter that I swear they intentionally spread around. But what your Roomba will also do is spread poop around if your pet has an accident in your house. One Arkansas man, Jesse Newton, found this out the hard way this week. In what he describes as the Pooptastrophe, his Roomba kicked on at its scheduled time of 1:30 a.m., only to run over an accident Jesse's dog had left after the family had gone to bed. In attempting to do its job of cleaning the house, the Roomba actually ended up spreading the dog poop around . . . everywhere. Read Jesse's hilarious retelling of the story below, and find out the happy ending the family ended up with.
