Bei Bei the Panda Makes His Public Debut in Washington DC!

Bei Bei, the baby panda, is officially on public display at the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington DC. Laurie Thompson, a biologist who works in the giant panda exhibit, carries Bei Bei out to the enclosure in the video above . . . and Bei Bei promptly falls asleep. Cue the "awww"s.

If you're in the DC area, you can go visit Bei Bei every day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and you can learn more about the giant pandas at the zoo on the website.
