Abandoned Dog Weighed Only 12 Pounds When He Was Found in Trash Bag

The Anderson County Humane Society in South Carolina shared a heartbreaking Facebook post last month about a dog named Gabe that was found emaciated and left in a trash bag to die. The dog was rescued weighing only 12 pounds and immediately given a blood transfusion and put on a track back to good health. The organization shared devastating pictures of Gabe looking so skinny that it makes you want to cry, but according to updates, Gabe is fighting for his life and hanging in there.
