The Only Thing Cuter Than Scott Foley Is Scott Foley Gushing About His Dog

Were you one of those lucky children who got a brand-new pet on Christmas morning one year? Pets are a popular gift during the holiday season, but we recently learned from Swiffer that some people are reluctant to bring home a pet because of the potential messes they'll have to deal with. Last year, the brand launched the "Welcome Home" child's first pet campaign with Scott Foley as the ambassador, and we sat down with him to get the scoop on the campaign and to hear all about his adorable pup at home, Frankie.

On the Swiffer and Bark & Co. "Welcome Home" campaign: "I understand the benefits that pets bring to my life. They so much outweigh the detractions. If with Swiffer we can overcome that barrier of adoption and can get some of these animals that need homes adopted, I think it's a great thing."

On Frankie's evening plans: "Every night my wife and I put the kids down, and our way to relax is we'll sit on the couch, opposite ends of the couch, she's got her arm, I've got my arm. We watch whatever we watch, and Frankie lays in the middle. We'll get up, inevitably, to get some more water or some licorice or something — it'll be 20 seconds, 30 seconds, and when I get back, my wife's in the same place, dog has stretched out and is in my spot. No! Get out of my spot! And I say, 'Frankie, move,' and she doesn't do it, so I have to push her, like it's a fight to drag her back, and by the end of the night, I'm literally, I'm this guy [hovering in the corner of the couch]."

On Frankie's furniture habits: "I have no problems putting my dog on the couch anywhere in my house. They're allowed. They live there. There are people who are like, 'Why is your dog on the couch?' and I'm like, 'It's 'cuz they f*cking live here; you get your ass out of here.' [laughs]. It's their house!"
