Like people, dogs all have unique personalities — just think of how your dog gives you a big smile when you whip out his favorite treat . . . or an eye-roll when you insist on one more selfie. But certain breeds are known for specific traits, whether it be loyalty, intelligence, or energy. In fact, so many of these qualities mirror exactly the personality traits detailed in your zodiac sign. (I'm familiar with this, as a Gemini-Taurus cusp myself.) So, yeah, what we're saying is you can totally figure out what dog breed you are based on your zodiac sign! Just don't blame us if it isn't the breed you'd like — it's written in the stars, after all.

Capricorn (December 22-January 19)

Like a German shepherd, Capricorns tend to be well-disciplined and responsible. Capricorns are said to be good managers, much like German shepherds, who make great working dogs because of their obedience and intelligence.

Aquarius (January 20-February 18)

Siberian huskies work best in packs, and are loyal and intelligent. They've got an independent streak, but get along well with others, much like this air sign.

Pisces (February 19-March 20)

Like Pisces, Golden Retrievers are gentle and intelligent. These dogs are also known to enjoy swimming like the friendly water sign. They make great companions and are beyond trustworthy.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

Dalmatians are best known for their strength and energy. Much like the fire sign Aries, which loves physical challenges. They're both also dependable and courageous!

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

Much like English bulldogs, people with the Earth sign Taurus are known for being stubborn and craving continuity. However, both bulldogs and Taurus are devoted and reliable — and love a good snuggle.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Air sign Gemini and dachshunds, also known as wiener dogs, both can adapt easily and are very affectionate. Plus, they're endlessly curious and quick-witted.
