Ever Wanted to Roam Magic Kingdom Even Later at Night? Well, Now You Can

Frequent visitors of Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom know that — no matter how magical the park may be — the late afternoon usually brings with it some pretty unbearable Florida heat and a lot of cranky kids. Well, it appears that Disney is now capitalizing off of everyone's desire to roam the park late at night with a special After Hours event to be rolled out this Spring. Cue internal screaming.

Though After Hours ticketholders will be able to enter the park at 7 p.m., Magic Kingdom will be exclusively theirs from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. for $149 — which is really just $35 more than the park's peak ticket price.

All the same rides and attractions will be available during After Hours, as well as select character meet-and-greets. The one downside to the event is that it will limit the operating hours for regular ticketholders, who are usually able to stay in the park until midnight and will instead have to exit an hour earlier. As of now, After Hours will take place on the following dates: April 14, 21, and 28 and May 5, 8, 12, and 19 — although it could become a park mainstay depending on its popularity.
