1 of the Most Breathtaking Beaches in Croatia Will Leave You in Awe (and Envy)

Croatia is full of mini paradises, but there's one sliver of heaven that needs to be discussed. Zlatni Rat (Golden Horn) Beach, which lies at the southern tip of the island of Brac, is where we need to be right now. Visitors sunbathing on the white pebble strip get to enjoy views of the Adriatic Sea on both sides. The shape of the tip that extends about 1,500 feet into the ocean is also constantly changing in form because of winds and strong currents. And the water? It's ridiculously blue and clear, making it ideal for swimming and snorkeling.

Sunbeds, paddle boats, and umbrellas are all available on the beach for rental, and the western coves are nudist-friendly. If you're planning a visit, the best months to go are June and September when it's not completely packed and the weather is still warm.
