Shop Amazon Through Twitter With #AmazonCart

Amazon has made it even easier to spend money on the site, in a new partnership announced today with Twitter that uses a hashtag on the social network to add items to your Amazon cart. Use the hashtag #AmazonCart in a reply to any tweet that includes an Amazon product link, and that item will be added to your cart. Poof — like social media magic!

Here's how it works: connect your Amazon account to your Twitter account and then send a #AmazonCart reply to any tweet you see with a link to an Amazon product you've just got to have. The product will then be added to your Amazon cart, and you'll receive a reply tweet from @MyAmazon detailing the status of your request, like if it's sold out or it was successfully added to your cart. No money is exchanged here yet.

Head over to the Amazon site, and you'll see the hashtagged item sitting patiently in your cart waiting for you to purchase. Seems rather simple, right? But the question is — will you actually use it and let others see what you're adding to your cart via a hashtag? Source: Amazon
