Having to pick up your phone and listen to voicemails may actually become a thing of the past once 2016 rolls around. Apple employees are currently testing a new service that would allow Siri to answer your calls (so you can continue avoiding telemarketers) and then have her transcribe your voicemail messages, according to reports from Business Insider.

It will work only if you use iCloud Voicemail so that Siri can take the call instead of letting it go to the standard audio recorder. iCloud Voicemail will also let certain callers know where you are and why you can't pick up the phone. Until the public can test out the new system, expected to launch with iOS 10, we'll just have fun asking Siri, "What is zero divided by zero?"
