A Young Girl Tried to Kill Her Mom For Taking Away Her iPhone

Yikes. A 12-year-old Colorado girl reportedly tried to poison her mom — twice — for taking away her iPhone. The mom smelled bleach in her smoothie but ignored it, thinking her daughter hadn't properly cleaned the glasses. But then she started feeling sick and smelled it again in the water carafe. "When she smelled the bleach in the carafe she confronted her daughter and her daughter told her that she was trying to kill her for taking her iPhone," police commander Heidi Prentup told a local news station.

No word on why the girl had her phone taken away, but she is being held at a Boulder County juvenile center on two charges of attempted first degree murder.
