These Funny Fake iPhone Ads Are Too Accurate

We love Apple's newest ads — in fact, we've even written about how the iPhone photography featured in them inspires us. But a hilarious new San Francisco street art movement, which parodies the gorgeous advertisements, inspires us in a different way.

Bay Area artists and professional pranksters Fabio Benedetto and Pablo Rochat have been strategically placing their own iPhone 6 ads all over the city — but these are a bit more representative of real smartphone users. Instead of breathtaking landscapes and museum-worthy shots, the satirical ads feature selfies taken on iPhones. While the fakes aren't as pretty to admire as Apple's masterfully designed phone posters, they definitely make a statement about how consumers really use their tech devices.

Check out these funny shots from throughout San Francisco, and let us know what you think of this social commentary.
