Matt Damon took a break from working on The Adjustment Bureau in NYC today to make an appearance at the Cinton Global Initative. He posed with the event's main man Bill after giving a short speech, in which Matt and water.org co-founder Gary White announced their new multi-year plan to bring clean water to people in Haiti. Matt also took the stage at the convention last year to address the same issue, though this time around he has twelve months of good deeds to back up his talk.
To see more of the convention, including President Obama and Alicia Keys, just read more.

That's nice and all, but right now, Americans needs help too. Why do celebrities all forget about their own country? So many people in California right now are standing in food lines because the Obama administration has cut off the water supply to all the farms that provide food for all of America, due to a Smelt fish.....look it up...........Celebrities need to get a clue. There are people here who need help, and babies here that need adopting.
1Number 1 needs to shut up. What a poor understanding of the Water Supply situation.
2Wow, that's amazing. Now, if only Matt Damon and his wife would actually VOTE and maybe spend two consecutive weeks with his step-daughter? Hey Matt Damon - how many poor Africans could live in the FULL SIZE basketball court in your SOHO apartment? And why can't your step-daughter live in the same state as you and her biological mother and her biologocial siblings? Why don't you take your 13-year old step-daughter on these wonderful adventures to third world countries after proclaiming that the world's problems would be solved if only more Americans held passports?
3all anonymous people posting about what celebs should do...THEY DO and not just b*tch. WHAT ARE YOU DOING?????
4How about the Celeberties puting up their money and trying to get Master licenced Well Drillers to go to these countries and drill new portible wells!
5There are so many problems in this country one does not know where to begin. The US was founded on equality and we all know that's never going to be a reality unless we all start writing and marching again . We do not hold our elected officials accountable for their promises before being elected . All we see on TV are stories of criminal behavior on our streets and the fear of terrorist attack. But what of the crimes of Big Corporations who steel Billions from the American People on a day to day basis . And all that money could solve so many problems of job growth , forclosers and health care etc. The laws past by congress have done everything to help them . I for one will keep writing to our elected officails but it will take millions and millions to let them know we want our country back in the hands of officials who work for the people and not the corporations who care nothing for you or me . If we don't act soon we all will be fighting in the streets for scraps.
6What about the poor in our backyard?
7Matt is so cute..
8Alicia is so damn hot there
9Matt is a proud gay man. I am glad he left his pretend wedding ring off.
