Julianne Hough and Josh Duhamel Take Their Safe Haven Tour to Toronto
Julianne Hough and Josh Duhamel went to Toronto yesterday to promote their new film, Safe Haven. The costars talked up their film adaptation of the Nicholas Sparks's book on the Canadian radio circuit before visiting New.Music.Live. last night. Julianne paired printed shorts with an updo, while Josh was laid-back in a blue t-shirt and jeans. Later on, the costars reunited for a red carpet premiere of the film.
Josh and Julianne promoted Safe Haven in LA last Thursday with the book's famous author, and earlier in the week, Josh and Nicholas stopped by PopSugar's office in San Francisco. The romantic movie hits theaters on the appropriate date of Feb. 14, Valentine's Day.
Julianne and Josh Talk Safe Haven With Their Fans
Julianne Hough and Josh Duhamel joined the author of Safe Haven, Nicholas Sparks, last night for a special fan event. The trio, along with producers Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen, sat down with host Maria Menounos for an interview about the movie that was broadcast to theaters nationwide. The evening also included several sneak peeks at moments from the film.
Julianne, who wore a tea-length Temperley London dress for last night's appearance, has been keeping busy promoting her second big-screen project — and so has Josh. In fact, Josh visited PopSugar's offices with Nicholas earlier this week to meet our editors and pose for some fun photo-booth pictures. Safe Haven hits theaters on Valentine's Day and will mark the eighth movie adaptation of one of Nicholas's books.
Josh Duhamel and Nicholas Sparks Make a Surprise Visit to POPSUGAR SF
Josh Duhamel dropped by the POPSUGAR offices in San Francisco this afternoon bearing sweet treats and a sexy smile. He had author Nicholas Sparks along for the fun as the duo promoted Safe Haven, which is the big-screen adaptation of Nicholas's book and also stars Julianne Hough. Josh and Julianne filmed the movie last Summer in Southport, NC, and we were able to visit the set and chat with the stars while they were on location. During our latest encounter with Josh today, he posted up in a photo booth to snap pictures with our staff, offered cupcakes to our editors, and even shared that he actually lived in San Francisco in the late '90s. Click through to see the fun and make sure to check out Safe Haven when it hits theaters on Valentine's Day.

Safe Haven Trailer: Julianne Hough Runs Away to Josh Duhamel
Julianne Hough is running from the law and into the strong arms of Josh Duhamel in the trailer for Nicholas Sparks's latest big-screen adaptation, Safe Haven. We meet Katie (Hough) as she's fleeing the police, headed to a destination where she can start anew. She lands in Southport, NC, and catches the eye of a handsome widower (Duhamel). Katie struggles against her feelings for him, but once she finally gives in, her troubled past comes knocking. Cobie Smulders also pops up as Katie's neighbor in the romance.
Are we really due for another sudsy Nicholas Sparks film? This seems to follow the formula to a T. I'm not particularly drawn to either character, but I will admit I teared up (I think it was the slow version of "Go Your Own Way" that got me). It's like someone sprinkles magic cry dust into these movies. Safe Haven opens Feb. 8, and you can watch the trailer and let us know what you think after the jump.
Julianne Hough, Fergie, and Hailee Steinfeld Celebrate a Stylish Show
Julianne Hough, Fergie, and Hailee Steinfeld, in a Mary Katrantzou skirt, stepped out in LA last night for Elle magazine and the Sundance Channel's premiere of editor Joe Zee's show, All on the Line With Joe Zee, at Soho House. The bash gave Julianne a chance to catch up with her Safe Haven costar Josh Duhamel, who attended with wife Fergie. Joe's new show is the latest stylish reality show. In each episode, he acts as a mentor to a designer struggling to get their line off the ground.
We spoke with Joe Zee to talk All on the Line well before the program's debut on the Sundance Channel — the first episode actually airs tomorrow at 9 p.m. ET. He said, "It's not the typical portrayal of fashion; it's something that feels real, genuine, and authentic. I was so moved emotionally. There were times when I was on the floor with [the designers], jacket off, sleeves rolled up trying to help. There were also times when I was so mad at the designers, and there were other times when I wanted to hug them. I was so invested in their final outcome."
Shirtless Josh Duhamel Shows Off His Six-Pack on Set
Josh Duhamel stripped off his shirt earlier today for a scene with his Safe Haven costar Julianne Hough in North Carolina. Production on the Nicholas Sparks film has taken place mostly in the town of Southport, NC, since the beginning of July. Julianne kept her fit figure under wraps for the latest batch of scenes. Just last week, though, Julianne Hough wore a red bikini to spend downtime on the sand. She's one of the toned ladies in the running for this year's PopSugar Bikini Bracket — fill out your bikini bracket before tomorrow night for a chance to win $500 from Neiman Marcus.
Tom Cruise and Julianne Hough Have a Rollicking Rock of Ages Premiere in LA
Tom Cruise, Julianne Hough, and Diego Boneta posed together on the rock-and-roll-themed Rock of Ages red carpet in LA yesterday evening. While most big premieres happen midweek, this one was enough of a party to merit the Friday-night spot. The trio, with Julianne standing out in her bright yellow dress, were joined by other costars, including Russell Brand and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Josh Duhamel dressed the part in a long wig and no shirt with Fergie by his side, while Zac Efron kept it casual to check out the scene. Jennifer Aniston's boyfriend Justin Theroux wrote the screenplay for Rock of Ages, and he was looking dapper in a sleek suit, though he didn't have Jen on his arm for the arrivals. Aniston did look sexy in white for an event to honor Shirley MacLaine the night before. Also without a date was Tom Cruise, whose wife Katie Holmes is currently in Asia for her own work obligations.
