While Ben Affleck was busy filming The Company Men with Kevin Costner in Boston yesterday, his ladies were across town having a play date in the park. Fresh off a trip to DC where she spent time with her mom, Jennifer was back to tending to her own little ones and giving Violet a few pushes on the swings. Ben and Jen are expected back in Washington this weekend for the White House Correspondents' Dinner, but for now the family can savor the springtime moments in Ben's hometown.

Ben Affleck and Kevin Costner chatted on the set of The Company Men in Ben's hometown of Boston yesterday. His location could get in the way of his attending the State of Play premiere in LA this week, but he should be able to trek down to meet his cast for the DC screening. Meanwhile, Jennifer Garner is back in LA this week picking up Violet and her latest art project from school. The whole family got to celebrate Easter together but now while he's gone, Jen gets all-girl play dates with her growing Seraphina and Violet. Next week, mom will be the one hitting the red carpet to promote Ghosts of Girlfriends Past with Matthew McConaughey.

Demi Moore got plenty of support from her family at the premiere of her new movie, Mr. Brooks. Bruce continued to prove how close he and Demi still are, although he walked the red carpet all by himself. Demi looked amazing as usual, and was joined by Tallulah and Ashton - who gets points for losing the icky beard but loses them for his bizarre choice of headgear. This couple is always dodging pregnancy rumor and now Demi admits that she'd like to have a boy, saying, "I wouldn’t mind a little balance, you know balancing out that estrogen."

I was semi-interested in this new thriller Mr. Brooks until I watched the preview and realized that Dane Cook's part looks fairly substantial, and my wariness for the film intensified. Kevin Costner plays Mr. Early Brooks, a man sometimes controlled by his murderous alter-ego Marshall (William Hurt). Demi Moore iss Detective Tracy Atwood who becomes the target of the serial killer she's trying to track down. Cook plays a nasty guy who catches Mr. Brooks in one of his bloody acts and then blackmails him.

Opening June 1st, the same weekend as Ocean's Thirteen kind of makes it seem like they don't want us to see it. You can check out the trailer and tell me what you think if you read more
