With over five million YouTube subscribers, NikkieTutorials can be considered a de-facto queen of makeup tutorials. She's such an influencer, in fact, that just this year she launched a collaboration with Too Faced. She wasn't always a makeup guru, though . . . as evidenced by her contribution to the high school makeup challenge.

The recent YouTube trend asks people to break down their teenage beauty routines. Yes, step by step. Nikkie hilariously starts her tutorial by claiming, "I'm frightened for my life." She then goes on to smear a green concealer on her cheeks, apply two layers of too-dark foundation all over her face, and re-create her botched eyebrows of the time. The final result is (horrifyingly) relatable. As Nikkie states at the end of the video, "We've come a long way."
