Adele Opens Up About Boyfriend Simon Konecki: "I've Got His Love"

Adele sat down with Australia's 60 Minutes on Sunday and opened up about her four-year relationship with her boyfriend, Simon Konecki. The singer usually keeps pretty mum about her personal life, but she couldn't help but gush over him, saying, "Being in such an amazing relationship with someone that's so there for me and so loyal and is really part of my core now, that's what made me write about everything I've ever done, because I've got his love. I know that sounds a bit like I'm trying to write a Hollywood movie, but it's only because of him and because of our kid and stuff that I'm all right."

The two have been dating since 2011 and have one child together, a 3-year-old son named Angelo, who actually inspired the song "Remedy" on Adele's new album. And as her relationship progresses, Adele revealed that her music is doing the same. While her last album, 21, was filled with bittersweet stories about heartbreak, the singer has deemed 25 to be more of a makeup album. "Before, I used to really get comfy in that area of despair," she continued. "But I realized how much junk there was — memories I was holding on to, and memories are wonderful, but a lot of them I don't need to hold on to." Just like her sound, Adele seems to really be coming into her own, and we can't wait to see what she will do next!
