In the wake of the mass shooting in Orlando, FL, some of Hollywood's biggest stars have united to pay tribute. In a new Human Rights Campaign video directed by Ryan Murphy, 49 stars honor the 49 victims who were tragically killed during the June 12 terrorist attack at the Pulse nightclub. "For too long, a toxic combination of anti-LGBTQ hate and easy access to guns has put LGBTQ people at disproportionate risk of violence and murder," the text reads at the beginning of the video. "It's on all of us to keep their memories alive, and to ensure part of their legacy becomes meaningful action to end hate violence." The celebrities, many of whom have worked with Murphy on shows like American Horror Story and Glee, take turns sharing the stories of all the lives lost in the incredibly moving video.
