This Resurfaced Heath Ledger Video Is Both Hilarious and Heartbreaking

A throwback video from Heath Ledger's time at the 2006 Australian Film Institute Awards resurfaced and went viral this week, with the clip showing the late actor's great sense of humor. In it, Australian actress Magda Szubanski, dressed as her character from the Australian show Kath and Kim, loses her mind when she spots Heath on the red carpet. She screams, capturing the actor's attention, and he shocks her with his amazing reaction. Later in the video, the pair reunites on stage during the award show, as she presents him with the reader's choice award for Brokeback Mountain.

That night, Heath also won the award for best international actor, and in a moving speech, he mentioned Brokeback Mountain and said, "The best thing I got out of it was, you know, my two girls," referring to Michelle Williams and their daughter, Matilda.
