Kate Middleton Gets Asked About Her Weight During a Birthday Bash For the Queen in India

Queen Elizabeth II is ringing in her 90th birthday on April 21, and even though she's not in India with Prince William and Kate Middleton this week, she was still honored with an early birthday bash in a stunning garden in New Delhi. Will and Kate were on hand to cut the queen's cake with a sword, and Kate looked as lovely as usual in a printed top and skirt by Alice Temperley. Prince William addressed the crowd with a moving message about his beloved grandmother, calling her "a remarkably energetic and dedicated guiding force for her family," adding that he was "so glad" that his children, George and Charlotte, are able to get to know their "Gan-Gan."

During the big event, one party guest, Professor Bulbul Dhar-James, asked Kate a potentially touchy set of questions; the professor told People that she inquired, "How do you lose all the weight after having two kids?" to which Kate replied, "I am running after my kids!" She also asked Kate if she was "tired of smiling" at her various appearances: "I'm just reciprocating," Kate reportedly said, adding, "Everyone is so warm."
