Teresa Giudice Speaks Out About Her Sentencing

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice spoke out for the first time about her 15-month prison sentence on a special episode of Watch What Happens Live on Monday night. Teresa and husband Joe were recently found guilty of fraud and will both be serving time, with Joe sentenced to 41 months in jail. In her candid interview, the reality star opened up about her guilt, stating, "Whatever Joe told me to sign, I signed" and adding that it was time for her to "wake up."

While the Real Housewife is known for her over-the-top home and style, she stated, "I'm not trying to keep up with the Joneses." Teresa shared with WWHL host Andy Cohen that keeping up her appearance while behind bars will not be a priority. Instead, Teresa's greatest fear was if her daughters — Gia, 13, Gabriella, 10, Milania, 8, and Audriana, 4 — would be OK. While Teresa's sentence begins on Jan. 5, her husband Joe will not serve his sentence until Teresa is out, allowing their children to be cared for by at least one parent. "It's going to be a lot of work," Joe admitted. "But they are my daughters, and I gotta do what I gotta do." Watch a clip of their interview below.
