Camila Cabello Avoided Calling Shawn Mendes "Baby" When They Started Dating: "It's Weird"

Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes might show some serious PDA when they're out and about, but going from friends to significant others wasn't easy at first. On Thursday's episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the 22-year-old "Cry For Me" singer revealed it was difficult for her to see Shawn as her boyfriend after they had been friends for five years. In fact, it was so hard, she couldn't even call him a lovey pet name. "It took me like two months to be able to call him 'baby,'" she said. "I'd just be like, 'Hey . . . you, can you hand me that water over there?' It's weird, but it's great."
