Snoop Dogg Has 4 Children — Meet Cordell, Cori, Julian, and Corde

Snoop Dogg is an industry veteran, but when he's not dominating at the Super Bowl or hamming it up with BFF Martha Stewart, he's just a down-to-earth dad, trying to do the best for his brood.

The rapper and "Day Shift" star has four adult children: sons Corde Broadus and Cordell Broadus and daughter Cori Broadus with wife Shante Broadus, and son Julian Broadus with Laurie Holmond.

For Snoop, his approach to parenting is simple: he wants his children to have the opportunities he didn't have growing up in California. "The struggle that I went through, that my mother went through, I didn't want my kids to have that, I wanted them to understand that it's OK to struggle, but I want to help you avoid some of the things in life that I did and teach you what I was taught, but show you how to get to the top a little bit faster than I was able to," he explained during a 2014 appearance on "The Queen Latifah Show."

Still, Snoop, 51, is humble when it comes to his skills as a dad. He told "Today" back in 2015 that he'd rate himself as a "seven-plus" on the parenting scale, noting he has things to "work on." He added, "My relationship with my kids is more important than anything. It's a friendship relationship . . . it's based on me being a father, a mentor and a friend."

Here's what to know about Snoop's four children.

Corde Broadus

Snoop and Shante's oldest son, Corde, was born in 1994. Corde briefly tried his hand at acting, appearing with his dad in the 2012 film "We the Party." And just like his father, he's a rapper, releasing music as Kalvin Love, most recently his April track "Your Love Is Very Special."

He also made Snoop a grandfather, welcoming his first child with Jessica Kyzer in 2015, a son named Zion. Corde and longtime partner Soraya Love also share daughter Eleven Love, born in 2018, and son Kai Love, who was born in 2019 but died on Sept. 25 of that year, just 10 days after his birth.

Cordell Broadus

Cordell Broadus was born to Snoop and Shante in 1997. He once played on the UCLA football team, though he left in 2016 to pursue "other passions," the coach said at the time. Cordell explained on Instagram, "I played football for my father because I thought that was the only way he would love me & be apart of my life. It took me 12 years to realize he loves Cordell Broadus the person not Cordell Broadus the football player."

Now, Cordell — who also goes by Champ Medici — works as a crypto entrepreneur and is launching an "early stage investment fund targeted at all things Web3 and on the Blockchain," according to his website, Welcome to the Block. He also serves as creative director for Hello, a crypto entertainment company. According to his website, he also leads his dad's NFT and Web3 endeavors.

Cori Broadus

Cori, Snoop's youngest child with Shante, was born in 1999. Cori has long lived with lupus, with Snoop telling People in 2010 that he felt "helpless" when she first started dealing with the autoimmune disease as a child. "She's the toughest little thing I've ever met," Snoop told the outlet at the time. "She's on the honor roll, playing volleyball and softball, living life. She has all this joy. In the beginning lupus was winning. But now Cori is."

In November 2022, Cori announced she'd gotten engaged to longtime boyfriend Wayne Duece. "She's a fiancé," she wrote on Instagram alongside photos of her engagement ring. In another post, she shared a video of him proposing with many of their friends and family present. "The easiest YES ever," she wrote. "@wayneduece I love you so much and can't wait to spend the rest of my life with youu."

Cori also has a beauty line called Choc Factory and a YouTube channel, where she shared a behind-the-scenes look at her family's Skims shoot.

Julian Broadus

Julian was born to Snoop and Laurie Holmond in 1998.

According to Julian's Instagram profile, he now works in social media management and marketing and names himself as an executive leader for Voxel X Network, which is a "decentralized community-driven GameFi & Metaverse ecosystem." In a press release announcing his role, Julian spoke of his love for gaming, saying, "I am very anxious and excited to help bridge the connection between gamers and developers. At the same time, I'm seeing how the crypto gaming industry will be molded by Voxel X!"
