Black Mass: Here's Johnny Depp as Whitey Bulger in New Images

Johnny Depp has gone through many dramatic transformations for movies, and his latest role is no exception. He's playing the legendary gangster Whitey Bulger in Black Mass, and new pictures from the film, due out of Sept. 18, show off his makeover. We already got a peek at Depp on the set and in action in the movie's trailer, but now you can study him and his costars, Benedict Cumberbatch and Joel Edgerton, up close. There's something terribly disconcerting about those blue contact lenses, right?
