You Have to Hear This Haunting Remix of the Serial Theme Song

On the eve of Serial's final episode, Soundcloud user Fafu posted what might be the coolest version of the podcast's theme song ever. "Life After Serial," which was shared on Wednesday, combines an uptempo version of the show's intro music with clips from the show — including Adnan Syed's prison phone calls and narratives from the show's host, Sarah Koenig — and the Notorious BIG song "Somebody's Gotta Die." The mashup is incredibly creative and powerful, especially with the mix of Biggie's haunting lyrics; the song is off of the rapper's posthumous album Life After Death.
