All of American Horror Story: Freak Show's Gruesome Fatalities

Bette and Dot's mother is Freak Show's first victim. In the premiere, the milkman finds her with her throat slashed on the kitchen floor. Later, it is revealed that Bette kills their mother with a knife in an uncharacteristic rage.

Dot and Bette essentially flee the investigation into their mother's death by heading to the freak show. Since they are the prime suspects in her murder, a detective pays them a visit and threatens to take them away. Instead, the freaks gang up on him and Jimmy kills him with his butterfly knife.

This young couple just wants to get busy down by the lake, but their picnic gets interrupted by Twisty. He puts on a little act, then smacks the guy upside the head and proceeds to stab him to death.

Poor Jeffrey isn't doing anything wrong. He is just having a nice sleep and gets up, and then Twisty stabs him to death.

After murdering Jeffrey, Twisty turns his attention to his wife. He stabs her brutally before kidnapping the dead couple's young son, Corey. They are dead in "a bloodbath" for at least a week before their neighbors find their bodies.

In Freak Show's second episode, we find out that Desiree previously earned extra money by allowing gay men to have sex with her. Since she's a hermaphrodite, she has both organs normally associated with male and female sexes, so when they have sex with her, they apparently get the feeling of being straight. Drunken Dell walks in on this situation, and he snaps the guy's neck effortlessly.

Meep the Geek is just minding his own business when he gets swooped up by a mob of townspeople who are angry about the freak show setting up camp in Jupiter. We don't see his death, just his mangled body getting dropped off at the freak show for Jimmy to find.

We see the toy store owner's decapitated head before we actually meet him while he's living. We know Twisty kills him, but then in a flashback, we learn why. Twisty tried to make a living selling homemade toys, but because they were literal garbage, the toy store owner turned him away. Bad move, bro.

The shop's clerk gets caught in the wrong place at the wrong time when he comes to the store and finds his boss's head propped up on a shelf. He backs up in shock, right into Twisty's knife blade.

After Twisty causes all this havoc, he finally gets what's coming to him: death. In the second Halloween episode, Twisty tells his story to Edward Mordrake. Convinced that he's the right person to join his troupe of dead performers, Edward stabs Twisty to death.

With Twisty now gone, Dandy picks up his mask to fill in his murderous clown shoes. His first victim is Dora, the family's maid. He's threatened her before, but this time he goes through with it, slicing her throat and just leaving her in the dining room.

In the fifth episode, it is revealed that Dell has a gay lover named Andrew (Matt Bomer) who makes a living as a prostitute. Dandy runs into him at the local gay bar and takes him back to a sketchy shed. There, he asks Andrew to turn around and undress. Once he turns around, Dandy is standing there with Twisty's mask and a knife. Dandy then stabs him multiple times. Andrew perseveres, and Dandy has to stab him even more before dismembering him piece by piece and dropping his limbs in a chemical bath to dissolve.

The kindly doctor who breaks the news to Ethel that she's dying is murdered. His daughter thinks it's suicide, but we know it's Dell who smashes the surgeon's hands after Desiree goes to see him about her tri-boob. The doctor may have killed himself, but he probably wouldn't have done it if Dell hadn't ruined his livelihood.

After surviving a murder attempt by Maggie, Ma Petite finally gets taken down. Dell is being blackmailed by Stanley, and Stanley needs dead freaks to sell for cash. Dell wakes Ma Petite up in her room; he gives her a pretty, purple dress; and when she hugs him, he smothers her. She ends up in the museum of oddities, floating in a tank of liquid for visitors to see.

After a long, subtext-heavy conversion with Elsa, Ethel threatens to kill her. She pulls a gun out, but Elsa is quicker. She whips out a knife, and, being the championship-level knife tosser she is, nails Ethel in the eye. Elsa then has to enlist the help of Stanley to make her death look like an accident.

When Dandy puts a gun to his own temple, his mother exclaims, "Please don't, not this way, I can't go on if you kill yourself." So, he points the gun at her and pulls the trigger. Nice knowing you, Gloria.

Dandy has moved along from single victims to murdering entire parties of people. He shows up at the house of a woman holding a Tupperware party — the same one that Jimmy is kicked out of for being too drunk to pleasure the ladies — and kills the entire group. The hostess's husband comes home to find the bodies floating in the pool in their own blood. Dandy took some blood home in the Tupperware, naturally.

Regina goes to the police, convinced that they'll arrest Dandy for murdering her mother, Dora. Instead, Dandy tells the investigator that he'll pay him $1 million to work for him and kill Regina. The investigator promptly shoots Regina.

It should be noted that Salty isn't actually murdered, but he does die in his sleep. According to Elsa, it's likely because of a stroke. Instead of letting him rest in peace, Stanley cuts off his head and sells it to the museum.

In Asylum, we learn that Pepper is at Briarcliff for murdering her sister's physically deformed baby. Now, we know that those charges aren't true. Pepper's brother-in-law kills his own baby by cutting off its ears then drowning him, framing poor Pepper.

These guards pick the wrong prisoner to transport. They are charged with taking Jimmy from the hospital to the jail when Amazon Eve jumps in front of their car, throws a rock in the window, and then Dell bludgeons them to death.

Neil Patrick Harris plays the disturbed Chester, who comes back from war to discover that his wife, Lucy, has taken a lover named Alice. His puppet, Marjorie, kills them with an axe — just kidding, Chester kills them but blames his puppet — because they wouldn't let him join in on their sexual activities.

After confessing to the murder of Ma Petite, Dell is terribly guilt-ridden. Desiree is about to pull the trigger and put him out of his misery. At the last moment, Elsa comes up from behind him and shoots him in the head.

Once the freaks find out that Stanley has been killing members of their troupe, they confront him with the head of the museum's curator, Lillian, to whom he was selling bodies. No more buying freaky heads for her!

Maggie is met with a most horrible death: being sawed in half on stage by Chester. Her organs splatter out onto the ground, and yes, there are plenty of intestines.

Paul is the first victim of Dandy's killing spree. Dandy walks right up to him and shoots him point-blank in the head.

Toulouse is next; he never even sees it coming.

Legless Suzi tries her best to escape, but she is gunned down by Dandy as well.

Penny also dies in the massacre.

Ima hides in her tent, but Dandy finds her and she perishes as well.

Amazon Eve puts up a fight against Dandy, saving Desiree but ending up dead at Dandy's hand.

Finally, Dandy is drugged and captured by Jimmy, Desiree, and the twins. They chain his hand to the bottom of a water tank and fill it up until he drowns to death. That's what you get, Dandy.

Elsa is the last to go. She becomes a TV star, but once she finds out her troupe has been murdered, she chooses to perform on Halloween, knowing that she's sacrificing herself to Edward Mordrake. He comes for her, but instead of wandering the afterlife with him and Twisty, she is welcomed by all her fallen comrades from the freak show.
