Barry: Netflix's Moving Biopic About Young Barack Obama Already Looks Like a Must See

While President Obama's time in the White House is winding down, he's not far from the public eye. After an intriguing teaser trailer, Netflix has released a full-length look at its upcoming biopic Barry, which follows a young Obama as he heads to NYC's Columbia University in the Fall of 1981. In case you're confused, this is a completely different movie than Southside With You, the story of Barack and Michelle's first date, which opened earlier this year. Here, newcomer Devon Terrell is making his big-screen debut as the future president, alongside Ashley Judd and Morgan star Anya Taylor-Joy. The vibe is much grittier, the music sounds incredible, and it'll finally be available for us all to obsess over on Dec. 16.
