Peaky Blinders Season 3 Gets a Premiere Date and a Badass Trailer

When I say Peaky Blinders, there's a good chance you either have no idea what I'm talking about or you've begun salivating. That's because the British series is one of the best shows on TV, and if you've watched the first two seasons on Netflix, you're probably as obsessed as I am. In fact, it's one of my recommendations if you're still missing Sons of Anarchy. A dreamy-eyed Cillian Murphy plays Tommy Shelby, the leader of a street gang in post-WWI England. It feels like ages since season two was released (because it has been ages), but the trailer for season three is here, and it provides us with some good intel about the upcoming episodes. The Trailer Is Epic

Tom Hardy Will Be Back

One of the biggest things we glean from the trailer is that Hardy will reprise his role as gangster Alfie Solomons. We'll have to wait to see exactly how much he'll be involved, but it's still cause for celebration!

They're Fighting the Russians

"The Russians have made contact," Tommy says (huskily) in the trailer. Sounds like we're meeting a new enemy!

Season Three Begins on Tommy's Wedding Day

If you recall, the end of season two finds Tommy in a love triangle between Grace Burgess (Annabelle Wallis) and May Carleton (Charlotte Riley). Who will he end up with? We'll find out pretty quickly, as the premiere episode takes place at Tommy's wedding. There are some spoilery photos that have been making the rounds on Reddit, should you choose to look at them.

There Are New Additions to the Cast

Paddy Considine is the newest member of the cast, joining up as a "representative of a force beyond anything Tommy has previously encountered." Dina Korzun (Last Resort) and Belgian actor Jan Bijvoet have also joined as foreign refugees in need of Tommy's help.

The Premiere Date

Series three (as the Brits say) will premiere in the UK on May 5, but Americans won't get to see it until May 31 on Netflix. We'll be waiting with bated breath!
