Denim jumpsuits are one of those trends we're totally into but are still unsure how to properly pull off. One false move and you could end up rocking a look reminiscent of Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake at the 2001 AMAs, a risk we're not exactly willing to take. Thankfully, though, Gwen Stefani — a star who's always up for a good fashion dare — has decided to take one for the team and show us the light with her latest jean ensemble.

Decked out in a medium-wash G-Star Arc 3D Boiler Suit ($220), the singer and designer completed her look with a camo-inspired jacket, some speckled sunglasses, and a pair of black booties. It was just the right amount of edgy and polished, plus the relaxed fit looked nothing like those awful skintight suits of yesteryear. Thanks for the inspiration, Gwen. Now it's time to try it out for ourselves.

We're loving Gwen's denim jumpsuit. Being the style queen she is, she clearly owned this tricky look.

The booties, the camo jacket, the tortoiseshell glasses — everything was on point.

This jumpsuit option almost looks like denim on denim, but up close, you can tell it's really one piece.

Obviously, Gwen finished off her look with a bright red lip — and a teeny-tiny choker necklace!
