Kim Kardashian Gave Us the Sexy Take on Winter Fashion I've Been Waiting For Since 2003

I like to think I was just ahead of my time in college, that my sweatpants and North Face fleece ensembles (complete with UGG boots) were just never appreciated for being the cutting-edge athleisure that they were. Maybe that's the case, or maybe my 19-year-old self lacked the fashion ingenuity of a Kim Kardashian who turned a North Face parka into a full-on street style trend with just a pair of leather leggings, white boots, some fresh contouring, and a slicked-back pony.

Sure, we've seen Kim throw on any number of sportswear and athleisure brands, repping Vetements, Supreme, Nike, and Adidas, not to mention her husband's own Yeezy brand. But, North Face? The brand is more college-freshman's-first-Winter-on-campus (that was me!) than style icon. It's more preppy and practical than sexy streetwear, but just watch Kim prove us all wrong. I never thought I'd eye a North Face jacket with such envy, but cut to me pulling out the box of college jackets I've had in storage, desperate to re-create the outfit.
