Lady Gaga's Sheer Corset Oscars Gown Debuted on the Runway Mere Days Ago

Lady Gaga rolled up to the Oscars in a gown that went down the runway just three days prior. The singer and actor wore a sheer black dress Gigi Hadid modeled on the catwalk during Versace's fall 2023 presentation on March 9.

The long-sleeved design featured a see-through corseted bodice with visible boning and pointy cups, plus a floor-skimming circle skirt that slung around her hips and dipped low in the back. Many of Gaga's tattoos — even the rarely seen cluster of roses on her lower back — were on display as she walked the red carpet with musician and collaborator BloodPop.

Gaga styled her sultry gown with four pieces of Tiffany & Co. jewelry: an archival diamond necklace, simple stud earrings, a diamond bracelet, and a band ring with five rows of pavé diamonds. She wore her two-toned hair in a slicked-back French braid and finished her look with a bold red lip, smoky eye makeup, and a subtle light-pink manicure. Before taking the stage to perform a stripped-down version of her Oscar-nominated single "Hold My Hand" from "Top Gun: Maverick," Gaga changed into a plain black T-shirt, matching ripped jeans, and Converse sneakers and removed her makeup for a fresh-faced look.

Read ahead to take an all-angles look at Gaga's fresh-off-the-runway Oscars gown, and then catch up on what Michelle Yeoh, Angela Bassett, and more nominees wore to the ceremony.
