So we wouldn't have blamed Kate Beckinsale, who recently announced she was divorcing her husband of more than a decade, Len Wiseman, if she skipped out on the Evening Standard Theatre Awards or even showed up in something simple, opting to fly under the radar.

But alas, we know that's not this star's style. She likes to make a statement, and she managed to do so again by rocking a printed Alberta Ferretti Couture gown to the event.
