Ryan Gosling Honors Eva Mendes With an "E" Necklace at the "Barbie" Premiere

The internet is collectively swooning over Ryan Gosling's jewelry at the "Barbie" world premiere. On July 9, the actor walked the pink carpet in Los Angeles wearing an "E" necklace in honor of his longtime partner, Eva Mendes. Celebrity stylist Mark Avery pieced together Gosling's outfit for the evening, selecting a salmon Gucci suit, cream loafers, and custom Hollywood 3D Printing necklace featuring the an "E" pendant in pink Barbie font dangling from a silver chain. Seeing as Mendes previously told fans she wouldn't be joining Gosling on the red carpet during the film's press tour, this sartorial tribute was his way of keeping her close by in spirit.

Mendes has been quite vocal about supporting Gosling's role as Ken in the upcoming Greta Gerwig movie. She shared a first-look photo of him in character on Instagram last summer, writing, "So. F. Funny. So. F. Good. So F excited for you to see this…#Thatsmyken." In May, she also posed in a "Barbie" t-shirt featuring Gosling's Ken, referencing his "Kenergy" in the caption.

Gosling's latest "Barbie" premiere look follows a string of similarly on-theme outfits he's worn while promoting the movie. At CinemaCon in April, the star layered a fuchsia bomber jacket over a "From Director Greta Gerwig" graphic tee that instantly went viral online. He also rocked baby blue and pastel yellow suits by Gucci for press events in Canada and Mexico, respectively, always perfectly complementing costar Margot Robbie's doll-inspired ensembles.
