Olives are meant to be at the bar, and once you add bacon and maple syrup, you have a happy hour bite that everyone will love. The mini appetizers only need a quick sizzle under the broiler before they're ready to serve. And you probably have all three ingredients in your pantry. Cheers!

INGREDIENTS

    • 12 olives
    • 1/2 pound bacon
    • 1/4 cup maple syrup

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Place your top oven rack at the second-to-top level under your broiler, and then set your oven to broil.

    2. Cut strips of bacon in half or thirds, depending on the size of your olives, and wrap, tucking the seam under the olive. You can use plain olives or stuffed, but we found blue cheese stuffed olives so good.

    3. Place olives on a sheet pan, seam side down, then under the broiler. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the bacon just starts to brown. Flip and broil another 3-4 minutes.

    4. Remove from heat and secure each olive with a toothpick. Dunk in maple syrup and serve.
