This Update Regarding Anthony Bourdain's NYC Food Market Is Quite Upsetting

Anthony Bourdain announced plans to open an NYC food market back in Fall 2015, but many new updates are being reported, including which food vendors are confirmed so far, when the darn market will finally be open to the public, and where the market will be located.

Confirmed vendors: La Guerrerense tostada cart (from Ensenada, Mexico), Geylang Claypot Rice (from Singapore), and chefs April Bloomfield and Ken Friedman (the Spotted Pig team from NYC)

New opening date: The Bourdain Market website now shows the opening date as 2019, meaning the project has been pushed back two years. Let's hope it doesn't continue to show a later date!

Unconfirmed location: Bourdain and his team have not signed a lease at the Meatpacking District's Pier 57, though the Bourdain Market website has Pier 57 as the address. Rumor has it the developers are eyeing the Gansevoort Market (near Chelsea Market) as a backup.
