Chips and salsa just go together, but a spicy hummus tastes so good, too. And this combo blends together in seconds using a few fresh ingredients and canned garbanzo beans. You can adjust the heat to your liking or keep it mild to be savored with fresh spritzes of lime, resulting in Summer snacking at its best

Lime-Chipotle Hummus

INGREDIENTS

    • 2 15.5-ounce cans of garbanzo beans, drained
    • 1 clove garlic
    • 2 chipotles in adobo sauce
    • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 1 green onion, chopped
    • Salt
    • Pepper

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Place the drained chickpeas in a food processor along with the chipotles, garlic, lime juice, and olive oil. Pulse until smooth.

    2. Season with salt and pepper then serve topped with the green onion and a drizzle of olive oil.
