Crescent roll dough has become the base for a myriad of hacked-together recipes, but the easiest of them all is this Nutella croissant recipe. In case you are wondering, the Nutella bakes up to perfection with the crescent dough — there's no unfortunate oozing out the sides. This means you can be really generous when spooning it onto the dough. The buttery, salty taste of the crescent roll matches the sweetness of the Nutella with such effortlessness, you'll wonder why you haven't tried this combo before! Sorry, cinnamon rolls, Nutella croissants are going to win out every time.

From POPSUGAR Food

INGREDIENTS

    • 1 container refrigerated crescent roll dough
    • 1 jar Nutella

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Pop open the container of refrigerated crescent roll dough. Roll the dough out on a flat, sanitary surface. Tear the dough along the perforated lines to form triangle-shaped pieces.

    2. Spoon about a scant tablespoon's worth of Nutella toward the base of the triangle, then roll the dough up toward the point of the triangle. Place on an unlined baking sheet. Repeat with other pieces of dough, separating them about 1 1/2 inches apart.

    3. Bake according to crescent roll dough directions (Trader Joe's calls for 14 minutes at 350°F). Cool slightly before removing from tray. Serve warm.
