This Is How to Elevate the Classic Screwdriver

The combination of freshly squeezed orange juice pairs so well with crisp vodka — and lots of ice. A Screwdriver is a cocktail everyone should know how to make, and adding a sliver of ginger gives it a unique spin that tastes so good.

Ginger Screwdriver

INGREDIENTS

    • 2 ounces Smirnoff vodka
    • 4 ounces freshly squeezed orange juice, reserving the rind for garnish
    • 1 slice of ginger

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Fill a rock glass with ice, then pour over the vodka and the orange juice, stirring slightly.

    2. Garnish with a slice of ginger and a peel of orange zest.
